Beautiful, new hotel close to the termal bath. Big and clean rooms, helpful personnel. Excellent meals in the restaurant, pleasant piano music at weekend evenings.

Very nice hotel connected to the aquapark, big room, lovely view, delicious food

The location is very nice, we loved the fact that the Hotel is connected to the Aquapark. Underground parking is a plus. The room was big, clean, comfortable, nice furniture, lovely view facing the park, good size balcony. The food was delicious (we had breakfast and dinner included), there were plenty of options. The staff nice and polite. Beautiful live piano music at the bar, in the evening.

At breakfast, we found glasses and coffee cups that were not properly washed (more than a few, unfortunately... ). Maybe it was due to the large number of guests, it wasn't enough time to machine wash them, but they were sticky and smelled bad. Many chairs in the restaurant are very stained.

Great weekend in a highly recommended hotel!

Great stay, nice staff, spacious rooms, good location, safe parking, tasty food, family-friendly programs - altogether a really nice experience.

The rooms were a bit noisy, the music and other outside noises found their way into the room...

Relaxing weekend

We spent the Easter weekend here, and it was a relaxing experience/stay. The personnel had a nice, friendly, helpful attitude. Tasty dishes at dinner for various tastes. Good location, great surroundings, quiet.

Limited selection of bread. The pastries were dry/stale. The Aquaticum Spa saunas (not the hotel's) were bellow expectations (for ex. at the "Aroma sauna" you had to bring your own aroma bottle). Pillows are too big and uncomfortable. The personnel at the reception should receive more training on how to handle difficult guests, without losing their composure.

New hotel right in the center of the pools. Very nice service, good food, free swimming pools. High Recommendation

It was a very nice stay!

I liked the location, the facilities, the food, the service, the personnel and the location very much.

The interior design is too state of the art, in my opinion, but it is a question of personal taste, of course.

What was the highlight of Hunguest Hotel Sóstó

We had a great time, and would recommend for families or bigger groups too.

Great rooms, almost like new. The staff is helpful and friendly. Great that you can just walk over to the Aquarius spa for no extra charge. The fitness room is good and usually, it was empty. There is even a small bar in front of it. It was open earlier as stated in the official hours. Restaurant was helpful with our special meals, they prepared plant-based food and coffee for us.

We are vegans and we told them beforehand still, we did not get the same kind of service as other guests. No problem asking for special meals every time, although they recognized us when entering the diner, still we did not get options to choose from any soups or main dishes and desserts only tiny portions. I would expect at least a few options to be offered and at least a quick check if it was enough since all other guests had the buffet dinner and breakfast option, and we paid the same money. But the prepared meals were really nice most of the time. One recommendation is that with a little bit of planning some of the already made meals would have been perfect for vegans too . Like pasta salad no cheese on top, could be added later if preferred. Lángos can be made without any milk products just fine, etc.

Good

Surprised that at checkin nobody asked about your whereabouts as we are in ‘covid’ times. I even have a dutch nationality. Maybe based on Hungarian ruling there were very little regulations in place. Yes some dispensers but no masks we obliged. People were close to each other. For me having met a lot of rules and restrictions a surprise.
